Casa Xu'unan was born from a simple dream: to share the warmth of a Yucatecan home with travelers from around the world. We opened the doors of our traditional house in the historic Sisal neighborhood, facing the San Bernardino de Siena Convent and at the start of the Calzada de los Frailes, to offer something no conventional hotel can replicate: the experience of feeling welcomed as part of the family. Here you are not a room number, you are a guest in our home. Every morning we prepare a different homemade breakfast with fresh ingredients from the local market, served in our tropical garden surrounded by lush greenery and birdsong. After a day exploring cenotes, Chichen Itza or Valladolid itself, come back to cool off in our pool, rest in a hammock or simply enjoy a conversation with fellow travelers. That is the essence of Casa Xu'unan: tranquility, human warmth and the magic of Valladolid in its most authentic form.
